Excellency in the work made by ACHNU it has been its capacity to enable and capacitate social actors who work with children and youth’s under an integrating perspective, that considers a participative process of formation taking into account the different realities that children and young’s have to live. Thus, from year 1991, ACHNU has designed and put in march initiatives that look forward to release social auctorial or empowerment of this sector of the population in their different development’ spaces, being considered fundamental to empower children and youth’s with respect to their rights, taking them as active members of the society. Therefore, the work developed by the institution always considers a long term glance with specific goals; work that goes together with the commitment and responsibility of public authorities and local governments as well as the civil society towards the children and youth’s benefits. This is what ACHNU understands like a Human and Children Rigths Approach or Rigth’s Perspective (Enfoque de Derechos), the one that crosses all the institutional tasks.

To summarize, ACHNU expertise is focus on it capacity to:

• Elaborate participation proposals for children and youth’s from an Approach of Local political Rights
  
• To generate together with others, local policies on infants and Youth
  
• To work in Network
  
• To advocate and make proposal for Public Policies that involve children and young’s
  
• To generate innovating methodologies to enable to different actors in the scopes of Coexistence, Conflict
• Resolution and Mediation at the school level·
  
• Put in march projects of Legal Defence of children, and youth employability.

A project that use the telephone as a tool to get in contact with young people and adolescents in search of direction to their problematic situations and restlessness. It received more than 27,000 calls during its period of implementation
