ACHNU is an institution founded in 1991 with
the objective to develop projects and innovating
methodologies of work that promote and defend
the rights of children and youth’s in our
country.
ACHNU has as an affiliated institution the
Chilean Association for Children and Youth`s
Rigths, PRODENI; ACHNU is an active member of
the World-wide Federation of United Nations
Associations, WFUNA, and is has a consulting
status as an organism of the United Nations
system.
In addition, it forms part of the Chilean Association
of non Governmental Organisms, ACTION, and is
member of the International Youth Foundation,
IYF

To promote and to defend children and youth’s
rigths to construct a more democratic society.
To be recognized as a reference institution in the
field of children and youth`s rights in Chile
1.- To strength the
capacities of the different agents who work with
children and youngsters, on their rights and how
to focus their field work.
2.- To influence public policies and legislations
that affect children and youth’s life.
3.- To promote an approach that recognize social
protagonism of children and youth’s in the
different sectors and fields of the society. |
